Margrete Lamond
I’m Margrete Lamond. I’m a working publisher, a published and award-winning children’s book author, a gallery curator and a picture-book art director. I have over twenty years’ experience publishing award-winning picture-books, have worked with some of the best illustrators in the world and have mentored numerous first-time illustrators through their first (and subsequent) books. I also know just too well how hard it can be to capture a busy publisher’s attention at first glance. Which means I know just what an ideal illustration portfolio would look like … and I would love to help you achieve this! Read more here.

Oliver Phommavanh
Oliver loves to make people laugh, whether it’s on the page writing humour for kids or on stage as a stand-up comedian. He also shares his passion for writing with kids, using his experience as a primary school teacher. Oliver has performed at various comedy and writers festivals around Australia and Asia. Oliver’s recent books include Don’t Follow Vee and Natural Born Loser, and he is best known for Thai-riffic!, Con-nerd and The Other Christy. Read more here.
